About Us

 Hi! I'm Amy.
I paint what I feel.Then, after I take a moment to reflect, I paint what I see. 

I want people to look at my work and see what they see. Sometimes people will tell me they see what I see in my work and other times they see something completely different and that's definitely okay with me; I love it all. 

My creative process is more than just painting an idea that I have.

Art should evoke emotion.

Art should tell a story and that story can be many.

Art should be transportive.

Art should be educational.

Art should be philosophical. 

Art has no limit. 

Art should be honest.
My work is therapy for my soul and it is the way I share my light.

Art is like the air I breathe; absolutely necessary.

Art = Life

My signature use of color is apparent in every piece. Even in my black and white works I still use a variant of color within the color and absence of color.

I also write. I have several children's books and a few books for adolescents and young adults.

My books are an extension of my creative painting side. I write to inspire and motivate and I enjoy sharing my stories. 

I love to design and graphic design is also something I dabble in with my children's books.

In "The Promise" I photographed all the images that I used in the book and my daughter, Lauren Alberty, took the back cover shot. 

My family is my everything and I absolutely am blessed. Everyone helps Momma pursue her dream. My daughter, Miranda Alberty, has helped me with this website and she also is a published Fantasy Fiction Author. 

I definitely have my love for my family as my muse. I am motivated by their love and support. I began writing "The Tender Turtle Series" back in 2016 and that series is inspired by my little boy, Liam, who is not so little anymore. My husband, Don, encouraged me to live my dream and he is my biggest cheerleader.

Let's work together.I invite potential clients to come see my work in person, if possible, and we can discuss what style (s) you like and what you want painted. I find that this helps with the process to create a one of a kind piece unique to you, the client.
